About The Programs:
30 Seconds of Self Care
What if you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed, and you’ve got only 30 seconds to do something about it? As a busy legal professional, this scenario is probably all too familiar. The good news: it’s totally solvable. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn a series of quick, effective techniques to manage stress and anxiety in just 30 seconds. We’ll also explore evidence-backed methods for cultivating positive moods and pleasant emotions that support your overall well-being and flourishing. You’ll leave with a toolkit of 30-second practices, as well as a handful of methods that go deeper.
Empathy in Action
Have you ever felt unsure about how to navigate new and evolving understandings around race, gender, diversity, and social justice? Or like your good intentions were lost in translation? If so, this program can help. We’ll demystify the complex landscape of identity and privilege, highlight how even well-intentioned speech or behavior can cause inadvertent harm, and offer clear guidance on how to show up in a supportive way for your colleagues of all backgrounds.
What we won’t do is judge or condemn. Everyone misspeaks, everyone has biases, and no one’s understanding is perfect. What matters is whether you’re working on those things, and that’s what this program is for. By providing essential tools and actionable strategies, this session will empower you to be a more effective ally and maximize your positive impact.
