How to Use Caffeine the Right Way
For New York PDC
About This Program:
If you’re like most American adults, a cup of something caffeinated is a non-negotiable. Unfortunately, that energy boost comes with downsides: jitters, crashes, sleep issues, and the promise of a rough day when you need to go without. At least, for most people. That doesn’t need to be you. In this workshop, a registered dietitian reveals how you can get the most out of caffeine while avoiding its pitfalls. You’ll learn the optimal amount of caffeine to consume, when to cut yourself off to safeguard your night’s sleep, how to avoid building up a tolerance, and which sources of caffeine can provide the smoothest lift without the spikes or crashes. Caffeine is a drug, and you should think carefully before using it. But, if you are going to use it, you may as well do so like an expert.
